In this scheme we encourage the beneficiaries to avail the monthly ration provided by the government. Only after confirming the receipt of government ration, an amount equivalent to Al-Khair's ration kit is deposited into the beneficiary's bank account. Beneficiaries include senior citizens (60+), widows working as housemaids, handicapped and needy people. Special care is taken that none of these families have youngsters above 18 years.
One-time help is given to patients suffering from major illnesses like cancer, heart disease, dialysis, etc. Al-Khair also refers such cases to other NGOs that work in the core medical domain.
